This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use uaevisaphoto.online (the “Service”), why we collect it, how long we keep it, and your choices.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated under the brand uaevisaphoto.online. We provide AI-assisted digital photos for common UAE document upload sizes. We are not a government authority.

2. Data we process

• Photos you upload or capture — needed to remove the background and produce download sizes.
• Payment data — processed by Stripe. We receive payment status and session identifiers; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Delivery index — a random ID (e.g. uvp_…) that lets you reopen downloads for a limited time.
• Technical logs — approximate IP, user agent, timestamps, error diagnostics from Cloudflare / our API (security and reliability).
• Cookies / local storage — essential flags for consent and session (e.g. temporary photo before checkout). Optional analytics only if you choose “Accept all”.

3. Why we process data

• To provide the Service (capture → pay → generate → download);
• To prevent fraud and unpaid AI abuse;
• To keep your pack available via delivery index for a short retention window;
• To improve the site if you consent to analytics (e.g. Microsoft Clarity).

4. Photo retention (7 days)

After a successful paid generation we store the processed photo under your delivery index for 7 days. After that period the stored image is automatically deleted (Cloudflare KV expiration). We do not operate a long-term biometric archive.

Before payment, your camera/upload preview may sit only in your browser (sessionStorage) so Stripe can return you to the success page. Clear your browser data if you abandon checkout and want it removed locally.

5. Processors / subprocessors

• Stripe — payments;
• fal.ai — AI background removal on the uploaded image for your paid order;
• Cloudflare — hosting, Worker API, optional KV storage for the 7-day delivery pack;
• Microsoft Clarity — only if you accept optional analytics cookies.

6. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering your paid pack), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention), and consent (optional analytics).

7. Sharing

We do not sell your photos. We share data only with processors needed to run the Service, or if required by law.

8. Security

Traffic uses HTTPS. Access to payment confirmation is tied to Stripe session checks. Anyone with your delivery link can download the pack while it exists — treat the link like a temporary password and do not post it publicly.

9. Your choices

• Decline optional analytics via the cookie banner (“Essential only”);
• Download and delete local copies as you wish;
• After 7 days, server-side copies are removed automatically;
• Contact us with your delivery index if you need help regarding an active pack.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. Do not upload photos of minors unless you are the parent/guardian and the photo is solely for a lawful document application you are submitting on their behalf.

11. International transfers

Processors may process data in the UAE, EU, US or other regions. We use providers with appropriate security practices for this type of service.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version here. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
